This class will focus on strength and how a mindful approach to asana can create seamless transitions, both on and off the mat. Chrissy is a passionate student of yoga and of all the surprising ways yoga shows up in her life, her kitchen, and her relationships. She teaches with clarity, humor, and heart and is known for her intuitive sequencing and thoughtful instruction. Chrissy is a senior teacher and teacher trainer at YogaWorks in New York, is the star of Gaiam’s new DVD, Beginning Yoga, and is a featured teacher on GaiamTV. Space is limited. 305 Fitness fuses high-intensity cardio with the sensual dance moves of Miami (hence, the 305 area code). These nightclub-inspired workouts feature a live DJ, a sassy instructor, glow sticks, and strobe lights. 55-minute classes use easy-to-follow dance moves that incorporate full-body workout set to pop, hip hop, and house music. Sadie Kurzban is a certified personal trainer, full-time party girl, and founder of 305 Fitness. Kurzban, a 23-year-old graduate of Brown University, has been featured in numerous media publications like Huffington Post, TIME, Well + Good, Fast Company, and Daily Candy for her unique ability to turn painful workouts into outrageous fun.
